Explaining the power of XR in science through direct, first-hand experience with the ideas of behavioral data tracking and embodiment.
Seven mini experiences that turn abstract ideas into tangible, emotional encounters. A few examples:
In a virtual museum, after a few minutes of exploration, a real-time heat map of users’ gaze appeared on the walls, floor, and ceiling, revealing the precision and intrusiveness of eye tracking.
After navigating a maze to find a hidden coin, users returned to a miniature version of it, seeing a tiny avatar retracing their exact path and body language.
We recreated the physical room in VR to ease new users into the experience and reduce disorientation. I call it "Fake Passthrough".
